A Sunny Day Recovery Centers has been created to empower Veterans and their family members with the help and assistance in learning, understanding, and gathering the individual veteran benefits that the veteran or the family of the Veteran are entitled to.

If you are a Veteran or the family member of a veteran, there is a wealth of information that can be found on this site, or you can meet with a Veterans Benefit Counselor by simply filling out an application and we will be in touch.  

In Order to qualify for VA Disability Compensation, you must be a veteran. That means you served in the U.S. military, whether on active duty, active duty for training, or inactive duty for training. You also need an eligible discharge, or a discharge that is not dishonorable. 

Because this service is a benefits counseling service, you DO NOT have to prove anything about your service. This does not mean that you will be service connected, this simply means that we will explore your active-duty service and let you know what you qualify for. We DO NOT throw everything at the wall to see what sticks, this is a stupid way of doing things and harmful to the truth of your claim. What we Will DO is give you an honest estimate of what you may or may not be eligible for, and this means that we will disclose to you the how and why of your claim. 

There are plenty of free options for Veterans to explore when getting out or wanting to obtain their VA entitlement. We can provide you with those options as well as provide you with the self-service options that will empower you to get the job done.
